I started Kim Walks Dogs in 2012 because I knew I
could offer the care that I would want for my own

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art with a degree inFashion Merchandising & Management. I got my strong entrepreneurial spirit from mygrandfather, Poppy, who owned several women's clothing boutiques in Chicago, and taught me to be business-minded. Following in his footsteps, I’ve created a variety of small businesses, including Atlanta’s first doggy ice cream truck!
I love the beach, paddle boarding, coffee shops, trying new vegan restaurants, and volunteering for my local farm sanctuary. I am absolutely obsessed with all animals and love that I get to connect with them everyday.
